First of all a*sshole, The US hasn't supplied Israel with 5 billion dollars! The US sends 2 million a year to Israel. From that, the Israelis spend it for different needs, some of which are military.
If you want to believe the swill aljazeera reports you're too ignorant to argue further with. Do you really think aljazeera reports the facts? aljazeera is operated my muslims, for musims, and controlled by muslims. As for the "unknown reason" that Israel is opposed to, or gets away with having nukes... that also is a crock. Israel has had nukes for decades, and has had the restraint not to use them.
Israel has put up with sh**it from the muslims since 1948, and has kicked their collective as**ses every time. The only reason they haven't completely eradicated the threat, is that they don't want to be accused of genocide.
I trained and fought with the IDF. All Israel wants is to be left in peace. I sincerely hope Israel finishes this once and for all, and completely destroys Hesbollah, Hamas, and any other Islamic radical group or country that they see fit to drop bombs on.
GO ISRAEL!!!

The news has clearly stated Hezbollah is hiding amongst the citizens of that country, they have their weapons in the houses of those citizens, and they won't let them leave. They dress as regular citizens, so it's obvious they are cowards. I'm sure Israel would like nothing more than to be able to have peaceful solutions, without innocent civilians being hurt or killed, but there's no way to deal with terrorists, except go after the places they are at.
Please, let's not gloss over the facts. There were bombings from the Hezbollah terrorists into Israel weeks before the men were taken, and I think it was three different men that were taken and each one of those men's lives are important. I'm wondering why all other countries aren't backing up Israel like the U.S. and other good allies are doing. America has this thing against people terrorizing, and has declared war on terror. Go figure.
As for the temple building, if true, that would be strange to me, but I'm not one for believing in everything out there.
As for the nukes, if terrorists have them or are getting them, then Israel would need that deterrent, although I feel that's what going to happen, if terrorists have there way, nuking the planet, would make them extremely happy. I'm hoping they don't get the chance.

You can pick and choose the statements and websites you want to promote a specific point of view. You certainly have that right. But when someone like you refuses to look behind the headlines and the shallow rhetoric, I feel I have to, at least, help "lift the curtain."
Any Americans who pay fedral taxes must expect that some of the money has gone to kill Muslims, even if Islam is not the specific target. Why pick on this country's support of Israel to make the same argument. You may as well say that Shiites who kill Sufis are targetting Muslims. It is as equally true and valid as your statement.
Second, since, as you and we all know, Israel already HAS nuclear weapons, what would be the point of a search, other than to expose the location of those weapons. Would the US welcome a UN inspection of all of its nukes? There is no "unknown reason." The idea beind the inspections is to assure that no OTHER powers, in that area or anywhere else, develops that kind of weaponry. There are WAY to many powers holding that switch, and I include this county among them.

I think you need to look into the facts a little more.
First, America is not encouraging Israel to attack Mosques, but allowing it to defend itself against the Hezbollah even if it is within a mosque. If the "innocents" would listen to the Israelites when they say "get out and away from Hezbollah or you will face the same fate" well, it seems to me either they aren't very "innocent" or incredably nieve!
Second, trust me, the Jews do not believe they will or even want, to bring back Jesus. I believe they just want to be allowed the same rights to their holyland as others. As a Christian, I would like to be able to explore my Christian heritage freely there also....but the Muslims are not allow this.
Third, I think we all know that Israel has nuclear weapons, along with many other countries including Pakistan, who is of Muslim culture. Just hopefully, they all know the horrible devistation they can do, and choose morally not to use them. I would not feel as comfortable if many other countries had them, as they have proven they do not have the morals NOT to use them.
All in all, remember, God is Love, the Devil is Hate. Where do you stand and what will you stand up for?

Everyone no's Israel has nukes, And Israel has never denied that , they have shown great restraint towards the Muslim terrorists by not using them, for the sake of the Innocent people in those countries, Muslims kill women and children and mostly their own, the Muslims terrorists have killed more of their own people than any one else. America supports Israel because we are a christian nation, most of our leaders are christian, to some degree, in the bible the holy temple of Jerusalem must be rebuilt, before Jesus comes back, but it will not bring back Jesus, It is just one of the things that will happen before he comes back, We are now in the end times and no man no's when he will return not even Jesus, but only the Father in heaven. The bible must be preached through out the world, so everyone will have a chance to be saves by the savior Jesus Christ the Lord, then the end will come, but their is still a lot of preaching to do around the world, for instance in Saudi Arabia, bibles are not allowed you can be put in prison for having one, and in a lot of other Muslim countries people have not heard the word of God, they have heard the Koran but that is not the truth or the word of God, Jesus said no man go's to the Father but by me, also in the End times their will be Armogdenden, that is when every nation will turn on Israel, and try to destroy her, but God will destroy 1/3 of the worlds army, God loves Israel, and will not allow that to happen. Read the bible so you can be saved by Jesus he loves you so much. On the news today Israel dropped leflets to warn the people of southern Labanon to leave so they won't be hurt when they come, what terrorist would do that, the terrorist don't care who they kill, they would never warn anyone they were coming, the Jews are compassionate towards innocent life. The terrorists countries like Iran, Seryia, want to wipe Israel off the face of the earth, they want every man women and child killed they don't care about life.

Actually, no.
America supporting Israel to defend itself against two groups -- Hamas and Hezbollah -- that have been declared terrorist organizations for over a decade, and who have both attacked Israel with the stated intention of wiping Israel off the face of the map.
By "jewish extremists" I'm assuming you mean the Israeli military, who are attacking the locations from which Hezbollah is shooting rockets into Israeli towns. Because I don't know about you, but if someone was shooting rockets at me, I'd try to stop them.
And as far as being the "only country to oppose being searched for nuclear weapons", when was the last time England or Germany or Japan or Brazil invited people in to search military bases for nuclear weapons. Or the US for that matter. Or China, or Pakistan or North Korea. I don't see any of them allowing inspectors in.
Your facts are wrong, and your assumptions are invalid. Unfortunately, that doesn't distinguish you from a large percentage of the world population that prefers propaganda to reality.

Sure every Mosque has a bunker under it. It just so happens that members and supports of the esteemed organization Hezbollah are Muslims. If those cowards would stop hiding behind the women and children maybe they wouldn't be hurt. And who's to say the people of southern Lebanon are so innocent when they backed Hezbollah as part of the parliament? They didn't know what kind of people they were? Aljazeera--very reliable source.

Israel is the largest cumulative recipient of U.S. aid since World War II. The $3-plus billion per year that Israel receives from the U.S. taxpayer is about one-fifth of the total U.S. aid budget, and amounts to more than $600 per Israeli. Most of this money is transparent, earmarked in Congress’ foreign operations (foreign aid) appropriations bills, with the three major items being military grants (Foreign Military Financing, or FMF), economic grants (Economic Support Funds, or ESF), and “refugee assistance.” Not earmarked, but also included in the foreign operations bills, is Israel’s portion of the grants for American Schools and Hospitals Abroad (ASHA). In addition, and less transparent, is the interest from early disbursement of aid and monies buried in the appropriations for other departments or agencies, primarily the Defense Department (DOD). These are mostly for so-called “U.S.-Israeli cooperative programs” in defense, agriculture, science and hi-tech industries.
Before 1998, Israel received annually $1.8 billion in military grants and $1.2 billion in economic grants. Then, beginning in FY ‘99, at the instigation of then-Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, economic grants to Israel have been reduced by $120 million and military grants increased by $60 million each year. For the current fiscal year (FY ‘06) the amounts are $2.28 billion in military and $240 million in economic grants, for a total of $2.52 billion.

Im in between in this argument...u havent researched this topic very well, and you are grouping religions together...I wish people would look at other people as other PEOPLE. not as muslim christian or jew. I myself am a muslim. and stereotypically Im supposed to agree with you. but i dont. proving that not all muslims think the same way. or feel the same way. you posted this in a very closed minded way, and most of the people that answered. answered in a closed minded way. we all have our own faithes and belifes but we shouldnt target others belifes or viewpoints and label them as being wrong. people just need to grow up and look beyond boundries and come together. we need to stop fighting over every little thing and try and work it out. and stop being so difficult! we have a bigger problem. our planet. and we're killing it when we ignore it and worry about what he said or what she said. just stop. nothing can be accomplished unless we work together as one.
