I have 3 kids all of them were less then 2 years apart. I am due any day with the fourth. Which willb e about 18 months apart from the last one. It is hard when they fight and need your attention, but i have learned that the love they have for each other and the closeness is the whole reward. It is soo nice to see them stick up for each other. This owrld is soo hard and it would be nice for your daughter to have someone in this world that she knows will be there for her. I warn you it will be hard, but well worth it!!!

It makes sense ; I know that when my son was younger, I had wanted to to have another baby so that they'd be 2 years apart but you need to also realize all the stress you will deal with by having 2 young babies to juggle with between always be feeding, diapering, pottytraining, bathing one and then after being kept up all night with one-having to still deal with the other during the day. Plus consider finances and make sure your husband is on the same page as you.Other than that I know alot of people are taking care of several kids and still thriving. Go with your heart and good luck!

My situation is similar to yours, I'm 19, and my fiance' will be 22, and we have three kids together. I don't think that 10 months is too soon. I got pregnant again when my daughter was four months. I think that as long as you are sharing the responsiblity she'll be fine. My daughter is still spoiled rotten.

You're young and you need some time to recover before you plan to get another baby. I have a three-year old daughter and I'm working and i feel that i still need more time to get to know her and lavish her with time and stuffs she needs. Pregnancy gap is very important for your health and for the baby. She's too vulnerable and as other parents may not know it, they need more time to enjoy being a kid with full parental support.

I was pregnant with my second when my first was 5 months old. They are 7 and 6 now and best of friends. I think it's great to have them closer because:
-They always have a friend around
-You don't have to entertain them all day
-You don't have to worry about the only child blues ("Before you were born I ...")
-They learn to share right off the bat
I could go on and on. If you are ready, go for it!

My sons pediatrician the best time to have another baby is about the time your first child is two. If you start trying to get PG now you will be just about right on target.
