There is no limit. I love wearing my jeans with a 4 inch heel. But I have to make sure that my jeans do not look too short with those or they cover some of my heel.

I say if the jean is covering most of the shoe anyways what the difference, I personally don't think a 3" heel or 4" heel are slutty in any way many women wear them around the office daily.

It's all about proportion. If you see a 5' person, you don't want to see them in 10" heels do you? They wouldn't be able to handle it. Shorter people may think they should have taller heels, but it just makes them look unproportionate and even a little unappropriate. 2 1/2" seems fine, but i think if you are tall enough, you could go up to 3".

They are hot!!! I know a lot of respectable women who wear higher heels. Personally I love the 4" and 5" heels, and I know many women who love them as well.

I always say 6 inches. Just because anything above that is pretty much vertical or close to it. 2 and a half inches is nothing. I think that if it's taller than 6 inches, its a hooker shoe.

do the jeans cover the heels?
if the jeans cover the heels wear whats comfortable no one's going to see the heel anyway.. if they don't cover the heal stick with the shorter heel.

When the height you gain from the heels looks way beyond artificial height, it's time to chisel of an inch or two from those shoes.
