I'm watching the live police chase (CNN Headline news) and I just want to watch this punk in the white truck get blown apart by some semi or go off a cliff into a lake or hit a telephone pole.

Am I a sick puppy or does anyone else feel this way?

No you are not a bad person, but neither are you good. The correct terminology is all human beings are subject to the sin nature. When you see someone commit a crime, it is evidence of the sin nature in human beings. To help you understand, humans being are unique in this creation, we are create in the moral and spiritual image of God. However there is a problem, God is perfect, we are not Our sin has broken our relationship with Him. We are not bad, we are in fact evil. Man as I am sure you have seen is capable of great acts of sacrifice, but man is also capable of committing horrible acts of destruction. Man is a contradiction. Man can stand for causes of the greatest good for his fellow man, but also plumb the depths of evil. We are sinners by nature and practice; by nature, because we are born with sin. (Psalm 51:5; 58: 1-5:) We also practice sinning, (Romans 3:9-20); Romans 1 is a scathing condemnation of man's rebellion against God.
God is Good, He is Perfect, all His works are guided by His perfection and holiness. To be holy is to be perfect without want.
Only Jesus can take away the penalty of sin(Romans 5:6; 1 Corinthians 15: 50-54) We still have the sin nature, but now a Christian has a new strength in God's indwelling Spirit.(Romans 8:1-16; 6:1-12) The Christian through the power of God's Spirit can overcome temptation, but if we sin, we have an advocate with God, Jesus, we just need to confess our sins, we are forgiven. (1 John 1:8- 2:2) But the best part is salvation is secure, because it is all God's work,(John 6:36; Romans 8:28-39) We can't lose what God keeps.

Humans are generally sadistic in mind, but cowards in person. This is why people get a thrill from watching it on tv, but probably would look away or leave if they saw it in person. I get these feelings also " oh I wish they'd mess up this one time, and she will fall off the scaffolding to the sidewalk ", but I know that I would feel bad if then it actually happened and I saw it. Yes sick, but in mind not in action.

No you're fine. I love watching live news because it's compelling and interesting. The thing I wonder usually is what could possibly drive a person to do such selfish actions. And I do believe that people who act in such a way should be punished.

its in human nature to want to see someone get blown apart or go off a cliff, it's the way our generations are these days, we laugh at other peoples stupidity and take joy at watching other people get hurt

If this is how you feel, your not entirely a bad person. Some people may disagree with your statement but your entitled to say what you feel, and for that you are not a bad person. Although, wishing bad luck unto others is not the right thing to do, to me. But, your not a bad person!

It doesn't make you a bad person if you want to SEE someone else get shot. That's what we do for the movies anyway. You would be a bad person if you wanted that person to GET shot. See the difference?

You're so alienated and prejudiced-- but far from "bad" you're the typical, hollywood-fed, callous alien in your own country. The "Good" because might makes right-- and the right has territorialized everyone's ability to think.

Depends on what he did wrong. Sometimes I feel the same way, especially when it is some low life that has involved innocent people.

I think people who run from the police should be beaten severely, then shot immediately upon apprehension.
