I listened to him yelling and hollering on the Senate floor the other night on television. He was "apalled" his words that the senate had voted to give themselves an avearage of $31,000.00 a year raises, yet the average working class citizen makes $5.25 an hour. If he's so apalled then why is he voting for the raises. I mean if there passing them then he's voting for it too right?

Jack,I really mean this with all honesty, the only thing I think Kennedy would find apalling is if his whiskey glass stayed empty very long.

He doesn't want to sacrifice anything to see his "visions" materialize. He wants to tell you what you're doing wrong and how YOU should fix it. He should just be quiet and have another shot.

I assume that a person of Ted Kennedy's wealth employs many people, both at his home and in his office. I'm also sure that he pays them more than minimum wage.
I'm sure he'll take the raise, just like all of the others. But at least he made you aware of the increase and the fact that some find it "appalling" whether or not he is sincere in saying so.

Nobody really knows what goes on in Senator Edward (Teddy) Kennedy's mind or what turns him on, other than that he and his brothers seemed to like running around naked with a bunch of call girls at the White House swimming pool when JFK's wife was away. She had no control over the matter, and just made it a point to stay away.

The minimum wage is just another way for big government to put its fat little fingers in to the business of the average American. They say it is about compassion (like anyone of these guys would live under the minimum wage they are proposing) but it is really about control. As we slide down the slippery slop toward socialism expect to see much more of the same.

just because they are passing does not mean that he personally voted for it....and they should raise minimum wage... $5.25 an hour is disgusting
