Cold hard football facts say that Brady is better.

Until Peyton Manning wins a Super Bowl, I don't think there can be much argument made in his favor.

For several years, Peyton didn't have the tools around him to win, but that's no longer an excuse. Their failures over the past couple of years have been due, in large part, to his poor decision making. For example, in last season's playoff game against the Steelers, Peyton often audibled out of running plays involving Edgerrin James, preferring instead to pass, pass, pass. The result was a number of bad throws, some sacks, and more pressure from a Steelers defense that felt no need to key on the Colts' running game.

Manning is a great small-game quarterback. However, in the big games where ball control, patience, and coolness are key, Brady is the one who excels. Yes, he's been fortunate to have a good coach and system in which to work, but he's also been a huge contributor towards those three Super Bowl victories.

In that Steelers game last season, you could see the frustration on Peyton's face, as we've seen it in the past against the Patriots, or in other tough games. That frustration is something you never see from Brady, a guy who might make mistakes, or lose once in a while, but who knows enough to stay level-headed until everything is done.

I think Peyton is, without a doubt, the better "tools" guy, but Brady has proven to be the better quarterback.

Tom Brady.
Manning may have the stats and records and that good stuff but when it comes down to it, Brady has smarts and the rings.
A lot of people say that Brady is reaping the benefits of being in a good system but everyone forgets that he was successful when he QB'ed at Michigan U. also.
Manning tore up the SEC when he played in college but he could never beat Florida the same way he can't beat New England in the NFL.

Tom Brady HE HAS 3 RINGS. Passing records don't mean
S H I T without Super Bowl Wins. Just ask Dan Marino.

Plus He's not just in a good system. Bledsoe was in that system and the Patriots weren't going anywhere that year until Bledsoe got hurt and Brady started playing. Just a product of the system thats the dumbest thing I've heard. If thats true then Joe Montana is the most overrated QB in the history of the sport.

duh..........tom brady has sucky people and still he excels in his job and he has great leadership, can handle pressure, and gives everyone a chance.

On the other hand peyton manning works with good receivers and still cant get his job done. did u watch the afc divisional colts vs steelers, man colts Suck ! and peyton will NEVER EVER win a ring when tom brady won three out of four.

take that peyton manning lovers! and tom brady is the best and had the most passing yards last season when manning was SECOND.............................SECOND. hahahahahaha loser manning or should i say little archie?!

Peyton is a better QB technically but I think Brady handles the pressure better which is what counts in the long run.

Comparing Brady to Manning would be like comparing Montana to Marino. Brady is in the right system that uses his abilities to the fullest and makes everyone better around him like Montana did for the 9ers. Manning is the more gifted of the two with potential to break all of Marinos record. Ability wise, Manning is better the better passer like how Marino was the better passer compared to Montana, but it's not called Passer, it's called Quaterback and a quarterback's job is to win games and championships like how Brady is doing for the Patriots and how Montana did for the 9ers.
