I am sure that there are pleanty of you that know what i am talking about. why is it that a all the straight men are so cute? i hear all the ladies ask why all the gay men are so cute. no its our turn to *****. I just had the sexiest man walk into my place of work, and oh my god!!! i had to life my jaw a couple times. I think he might be gay. he just moved into the area. i was turnin my flirt on, and he was responsive, then he asked where all the cute girls hung out. that was the last time that i lifted my jaw. what the heck. anyone care to comment

It's those damned metrosexuals and the evil female demand for men to be that way. Most str8 guys will do crazy s* to get laid. Most will lie to you and stuff...but that's not the point. Okay, yah, so blame the str8 girls, they wanted their guys to look like that. I think the "manly" men went extinct sometime in the early 2000s.
Really, when you think about it, you kinda answered your own question. You said, " i hear all the ladies ask why all the gay men are so cute." Well, guess what? I think the str8 guys heard that too. So thus the metro was born.

Sorry, we just can't help being cute. Just because someone is responsive to your flirting, they might have thought it was just niceties in the biz world, not flirting, and are responding out of respect, as you are in a professional setting. He might have then realized that you were flirting, and so he asked about the girls to get you the message to back-off. Otherwise, he was gay, and wasn't interested, so he bs'd you to think he was str8. Either way, you were rejected, move on.

I will say I was distraught to find the HOTTEST bartender at the local queer club was straight. That's just cruel. My female friends complain all the time that all the good guys are either taken or gay; I remind them of the statistics, and that I have to choose from 10% of the 33% that are male at my school (we've got a crazy ration); and that when one of them is taken, they're taken WITH another one from that 10 %. Girls are crazy.

i've seen some really hot straight guys come into my work too, and for me i think it's more about that wanting something you can't have. forbidden fruit always tastes the sweetest, they say, but of course it always leaves the most bitter aftertaste.
