I have found that frozen plankton, bosmiden, daphnia and bloodworm are all readily accepted foods, and anything else that can fit in its mouth, EXCEPT fish. Brine shrimp is also suitable but I find this is about the largest food they can manage.

Sand sifting gobies don't neccesarily eat waste out of the bottom of the tank, what they do when they sift the sand is search for the food that they eat. What the eat are copepods and amphipods. I would feed them mysis and brine shrimp. They aren't neccesarily algae eaters, but spirulina enriched brine shrimp wouldn't hurt.

Dragon gobies are brackish fish - they generally like a little salt in their water but are not marine.
they are filter feeders primarily even though they have that huge mouths - small food - like brine and daphnia.
