who was first in Popeye...Bluto or Brutus?

i think bluto was 1st, wimpy i'm not sure when he joined, the other freak was alice the goon, no to marriage, sweet pea was some ones nephew i think

Bluto, but Disney sued because it sounded to much like Pluto. Sweet Pea was found and adopted. Don't remamber when Wimpy came along or the Jeep. Sorry, that's all I can remember now.
