I wouldn't go as far as to call it the American way yet, but it's certainly the republican way.

Yes, but the trick is to let the masses think they are"not the poor"!
Most Americans make less than $20 an hour, do not have enough savings to support themselves for 2 paychecks and buy goods on credit.
Yet they think of themselves as the "middle class" and think the politicians are working for them! When in reality the politicians are working for the corporations and the rich who run them.
Sad part is the media is owned by corporations too so the news the Americans get is "heavily censored"
Cheers

Stupid question, but I'll answer it.
I assume you mean to ask "Should America's poor kids fight and die for the wealthy in this country?" The answer is no. America's kids are in Iraq and Afghanistan because they chose to stand up (volunteer) and defend this country wherever it was decided by the leaders in our government that our nation's interests were at risk. If it had been decided that Canada posed a grave and present threat to our national security, we would have gone there and kicked some tush. This idea that poor kids are being sacrificed for people whose fortunes hinge on oil is pure hate-America socialism. Pull your head out of your a-s, kid.
The "American Way" is that you go to school, learn something you can use to make for yourself a better life than your parents had, work hard, get married to a good mate, have kids, teach them well, send them off to school and watch the process repeat itself over and over hundreds of millions of times until we have built a country that no other can match. We did that up until about 1964 when liberalism began to rear its ugly head. Now, people who desire and work toward success are frowned-upon, looked at as traitors and are taxed much more harshly than those who don't make the stretch for a better life. It's tushbackwards, really. Those who sit around waiting for the welfare check are the ones who should be ashamed of themselves for not making it in a country as rich as the USA.

No work hard and keep your nose to the grind stone and you will succeed. Many poor have gotten rich that way. Do you have a Burr up you but or something. Or a useless liberal pustule that oozes negativity about America.

NO, there are only a few people in America who get money from Oil, the rest have become rich from getting old money, money that their parents worked hard for. Others have got rich by using their brain power and many rich people have been very poor before they made their millions.
