Go where your going to feel most comfortable. College isn't about where you are, it's about learning, mostly, but also about growing. And having some fun ;)

Personally, I'd choose NC, but that's because I know it better than NY. Go with what your heart tells you is going to be most beneficial.

weather is mild, and if you happen to attend one of the schools in the research triangle, that's like the BEST thing in the world!
I would say NC, MA, CA are the best academic states in the US.

It depends what kind of atmosphere you want. What schools are you looking out. In NY you can either have big city or small boondocks.

Are you going to school or on a holiday? The college should be top priority, it shouldn't matter where it is.

Which actual university are you planning on attending? I would think that makes all the difference.
