The uneven wear is probably due to a slightly uneven gait. You may distribute your weight to the outside or inside of your foot un-evenly.

You can go to a cobbler (shoe repairman) and have them add on a small piece of material to aid in even wear, or repair an odd wear pattern. It is a cheap option com paired to buying a new pair of nice shoes.

Also they can replace the rubber type bottom on "Birkenstock" type sandals. And punch new holes in belts for you, and repair leather purse straps.

Most ppl tend to put more weight on the outsides of there shoes when they walk. That's what always happend to me everytime I wore Reebok classics, I hated those shoes!

I think that it is because shoes are made from a mould. Peoples feet are not. If you want that problem to stop then you have to have your shoes made especially for your feet.

They will get eaten from the side on which you put pressure while walking.. could be right left..south east west north..space or ground..

It all depends on how you walk on them. Every body's shoes wear differently.

You either SUPONATE (walk on the outside of your feet--Bottom of your feet, when together, look like a Soup Bowl)) or PRONATE (walk on the inside of your feet).

bcuz you either pronate or supinate. some people tend to walk either on the outer rim of their feet (pronate) or walk on the inside edge of their feet (supinate)
