Spray a good weed&feed along the borderline and onto the adjoining part of your neighbor's yard too. Makes a good barrier line... then do the rest of your yard.

In some communities there are ordinances about weeds to prevent the spread of them. Call your county courthouse.

If they bother you tremendously, maybe you could offer to remove them for your neighbor. If that doesn't appeal to you, just make sure when one pops up on your lawn that you get rid of it immediately.

Good luck!

Mow your lawn, and a stripe of two of his lawn.
Spray weed killer on your lawn, and little on his lawn.
Then offer to let your neighbor borrow your weed sprayer.
There are also fertilizers that have weed killers in them. If you lay down some fertilizer then make sure you overlap on his lawn, and again offer to let him borrow your spreader.

Take a pill

What's with this obsession for the "perfect lawn"? Herbicide, pesticide, fertilizer, wasted water, gas for the mower, time that could be spent on something productive. WAKE UP!

you can either try to talk to your neighbor or you can spray for weeds with weed killer and hit some of his yard or you can put some news paper down on the weeds and anywhere else that might get weeds in your yard then put mulch over it.
