It depends what type of restaurant your g/f likes to go to. Some women like fancy restaurants, and some like truck stop restaurants. Find the type of restaurant that she really likes and take here there. Most people find restaurants by the water casual yet romantic, but everyone is different. I hope you have a great date!!

Take her somewhere cute with food that you both like... or if there's a park near you, buy a bunch of pre-made food from a deli or something and have a sunset picnic.. that could be cute too, and you won't be in a crowded restaurant =o)

Take her to a romantic style setting. With candlelights, maybe jazz or smooth music.
Johnny Carino's has corner table, where you even can pull the curtain!

Something with distractions to make conversation about. Bellydancers, anyone?

Is there any place that you have taken her before that she liked, or one that you have heard her talk about? If not,.. Italian food is usually good.
