I'm a little bit of both...i pretty mechanical so i can fix a LOT of things and i can cook a mean meal which makes me like my dad

I care more for others than i do myself and can clean a house (like no ones business lol) like my mom

I'm more like my dad, in personality and in looks. He's kind, patient, thoughtful, understanding, intellectual, with a wry sense of humor. I'm a little weirder though, and I always seem to be in more of a hurry. Neither one of us is mechanically inclined, though my dad is getting more into do-it-yourself stuff as he's getting older. I'm more Mr. Broke-it than Mr. Fixit.

What a thought provoking question.

I share my Father's looks and some of his interests (most particularly wildlife) but my Mother's nature. Am I my own person? Yes of course but I have no problem with sharing the qualities of two such amazing people.

I don't act like either one, since they are both dead. They gave up acting.
Even is you acted sort of like one or the other, or a mix, wouldn't you be your own person? Whose person would you be? Would you have to give yourself back at some point?

My grandmother! I was raised by her and so everyone tells me I am just like her! On the other hand even though my mother passed away when I was really young...(a baby really), I've been told that I do certain things just like her! For example...I hate to tie my shoelaces...I always ask someone to do it for me. It's just one of my many oddities! lol!
One time my mother's sister pointed out that my shoelaces were untied and I told her" I know. I don't like to tie them. You wanna tie them for me?"
She freaked! She said my mom always did the same thing!!!!
Funny huh? Then again...it might just be a weird coincidence!

Whenever I do something my mom doesnt like she says Im like my dad, and my dad says Im like her if its something that doesnt suit him.
Actually when in doubt I ask myself what my parents would have done and do something different from that.

I'm like my mom, because I overanalyze things sometimes, and I'm like my dad because I'm very quiet. Other than that, I'm entirely different from my parentals.

Both my parents are dead. It would be hard to act like them.
