you can get from the waltham center commuter rail station to kenmore square in less than an hour. you need to switch from commuter rail at north station to the green line.

if you don't want to drive thsta your best bet. 2nd option would be to take a cab to the alewife "t" station and ride the red line in.

use the trip planner -

Commuter Rail (Fitchburg Line) inbound from Waltham to North Station; Green Line inbound from North Station to Kenmore; walk up Brookline Ave. to Fenway. Repeat in reverse to get home. Easy!

And, GO SOX!!!

Easy. Take Rt2 East to the Alewife T-station exit. It will cost you only $4 to park, and $2 for tokens there and back. Take the T to the Park Street station, and from there hop on the Green Line train to Lechmere (almost every train goes there). Get out, walk a few blocks, and you are there, economically, safely, and with no traffic jams to fight!

Enjoy the game! Go SOX!

Go to Riverside Station - just a few exits south on 128.

Then take the Green Line in directly.
