There hasn't been a 100 yr period in ANY region without at least one war. The scale of the warfare was bigger or smaller relitive to the organizations of the civalization. European wars are better known mostly because they tended to be self publicizing. Some of the biggest wars happened in Asia. Some of the most brutal in the Middle East. Before the Muslims invaded the Indian's fought among Indians, fought off invaders and invaded other nations themselves. The Aztecs warred with other tribes and when they ran out of enemies they designated some of thier own to be enemies so they could continue to war. The plains natives of the US were in constant war thoughout thier histories. In Africa there was war, in Polynesia there was war.
In fact peace is a relitively new concept for people. Might even be a whole generation soon in some nation or another that is born and dies without seeing war in thier native nation. Some Swiss might have already done this. The Swedes were technically drawn into WWII so they don't count even if they were officially nuetral. There is a South American country I think which has avoided war for maybe 70 years now. A whole region? Not a chance. Not any time soon.

Many people consider the period between the Napoleonic Wars (ended in 1815) and World War I a supposedly warless hundred-year period, but there were still small wars, so I guess not.

Hmm I don't think so. The closest thing would be during "Pax Romana" from around 0 to 100 AD Approximate -- but you had the Iceni uprising in Britain during that period.

Nope, not that I recall... Europe has always been a hotbed of contention between the haves and the have-nots. Asia hasn't been that much better either.
