Because of the wonders of the universe I believe that there is someone, something, somewhere whom you can call anything you wish, whether it be Buddha, Allah, god, Jehovah, etc. started all these. if the universe got started with a big bang, HE/SHE/IT must have lit the fuse. Whenever we need answers to the "unexplained", we can always say "god wanted it". Good excuse as any. I believe this world will end the way it started, with a big bang, probably from an asteroid or some heavenly body that some day will hit the Earth and wipe out it's existence.

u will always believe in something, you don't have no choice at all. and do you really think that believing in a god or whatever would make such a huge difference in life???(besides of in which church u go, but that's secondary) i mean come on, its all a very theoretical question, the real important things are job family money sex friends and maybe hobbies or however u wanna call it. life just wont change if u believe or not believe in god, the problems stay the same

I think so. Something had to start the Big Bang in motion, and something had to guide evolution. I've seen too many things happen that can only be explained by there being a higher power to not believe in God. People may say things have happened by coincidence alone, but that's a lot of coincidences.

Yes, I'm a believer. When my faith is at my strongest, my life feels the most at peace. There is ALWAYS room for another believer in God's family—I recommend making the conscience choice to be a part of it.

If you're looking for a scientific reason to back up your choice, The Bible coincides with more of early history, etc. than people think. If you're serious, ask a pastor, priest, etc. at your local church. I'm sure they would be willing to discuss anything with you. Several are available by phone or email, in addition to regular office hours, outside of normal church services.

Short answer, yes. Long answer, think of Time. Time is the measure of age. For something to be old it has to exist. Time had a beginning, when the first "thing" was created time began. God exists outside of time because He is the creator. All you see and feel and experience had to have a beginning. For it to have a beginning it needed creation. Where did the first "thing," be it an atom or molecule or whatever, come from? The first thing that led to more complex things including ourselves came from the Creator, God.

Yes, I believe with my entire heart and soul that THERE in fact A God watching over us, many lose faith because of the state our world is in, but if you read The Bible you'll find that God doesn't "own" earth, Satan does. I can't believe fully in the theory of evolution because if we did come from the sea, where did the sea come from?

Yes, I believe. So much that I write His name as God and not god. I have so much respect and fear of the divine power - having been brought up in a christian home. He is my God of second chance and He has pardoned me a lot of times when I erred, He didnt forsake me and leave me to figure out stuff on my own. He guides me through the roughest of valleys and helps me find solutions to all of my problems. I have so much faith in Him and I know He dont give me anything I cant handle. My belief in Him is so deep and strong it cant be shaken.Even when Im walking in the midst of the valley of death, I shall not fear for the Lord is with me... Now that's powerful.

There has to be a higher force - something everything started with - something that's ex-temporal - i know it's old, but something has to have created the universe, all existence - it's just impossible (at least in our perception) that matter creates itself without any influence from "outside". Besides: Life's a lot easier if you can believe in something!

Do you mean the god of the bible or something else. I don't have much faith in the religions of man. I do believe there is something else out there. But I'm not going to define it via someone else's definition. I reccomend you find your own way. Look into some religions or other ways of life. Your best bet is to decide what feels right for yourself and not relying on what other people say.

I don't think there is as i'm a man of science not faith, however i do think that everything in the world (such as mankind) is a little complicated to have come about by accident. If god does exist i certainly don't think he is this compassionate father figure that the church makes him out to be.
