that use to happen to me, actually it was worse. You need to go to the doctor. Living like that is not fun, I use to miss school days, when I got older I couldn't go to work sometimes. What I noticed is that as I got older it wasn't so bad and know after my first child I don't get cramps every month.
It also has to do with what you eat. for me it's sugar it makes the pain extremely bad, for other women it's sour things like lemon or orange juice. try to eat healthy food during the month and drink cranberry juice it helps with the pain.

The changes in your body and the hormone levels that change to make you have your period also cause contractions of the uterus. (This causes cramps and pain in some women) For some it can get to the point where they really do feel sick, whereas for others (no fair, but..) it can cause hardly any discomfort at all.
Taking meds specifically for menstral pain (sold at every drug store) helps a lot for discomfort on the first day. For some, taking birth control does also help, because it helps regulate your cycle and makes your period lighter.

Your dysmenorrhoea sounds quite intense. There's lots of natural chemicals produced by the body called prostaglandins that are made in the lining of the uterus which cause the pain. I believe starflower can help the pain... also a nice hot cup of water can help too.
Good luck

Change in hormone levels in your body. Just like when you're pregnant. Getting onto birth control might help. It helps a lot of women with similar issues.

what you are experiencing my dear are cramps. If they are that bad you should see a doctor and he can put you on some type of birth control pills, this will really help.

It is cramps. Before you are expecting you are expecting your period go and run, that will loosen the muscles and you won't have bad cramping.
