Esther isn't that bad... think about how humiliating it would be to be named Guy or Starr or Sonny... You could just say your name is Beth... It's kind of close to Esther. Actually, I find that name very pretty. It's unique and I don't know anyone with that name. When you're older, you can change it if you want too... but I wouldn't. You're unique and so is your lovely name... ok?

It took me a while to figure this out. LOL means laughing out loud. You'll also see ROFLMAO which stands for rolling on the floor laughing my A** off. Another important one is BRB - be right back.
good luck and happy chatting!

Laugh or laughing out loud. It started with chat rooms and emails, along with other acronyms like FOOMCLLAFCP (falling out of my chair laughing like a f**king crazy person. And I just made that one up.) Acronyms are especially helpful in text messages, er, they are esp. helpful in txt msgs. I don't know if other countries use LOL. Bridget Jones uses v. for "very." So I'm sure they understand, even if they don't use that particular acronym.

LOL is laughing out loud. It is an acronym like "SCUBA"- Self Contained Under Water Breathing Apperatus". It is shorthand for people that IM a lot so that they don't have to write as much. I hope that this helped you out!
