i don't think it is...because if it is..than social security would be a 'socialist' concept...also...what's wrong with health care for everyone?--a lot of needless deaths and illnesses would be prevented if low-income families had this

I can see how you would question their judgment, but they do have a point. The problem is that nobody wants to pay a big chunk of their own money so that some low-life can receive free health care, and in a way it is a form of soft-socialism. I can see how some people would love this, and I could see how some would hate it. As a middle class average Jack-a$$, it would be nice to be able to get some affordable health care, but at the same time I don't want to have to pay hard-earned cash so that "Captain Welfare" on the other side of town can get free insurance. All in all, I say that we should deal with it. Not everyone is going to be rich, famous and well off. Such is life. We may as well get used to it. Taxing the living dog-sh** out of the upper-echelons of the earning scale isn't going to help anyone. The government is just going to spend it bullsh*( anyways.

I also hear that every liberal is a commie, pinko, anti-American, socialist, troop-hater. It doesn't mean that their opinion is right.

I do think that a nationalized health insurance program would be wrong, but I think the government should get of their asses and regulate the healthcare industry. They obviously cannot do it fairly themselves. Have you noticed how much it costs for a visit to the ER?

Wheather it is socialism or not it is wrong!
Reasons:
1, People usually abuse the services that are free.
2, Politicians cannot be trusted to handle decisions about your healthcare without taking a peice of pie for themselves or thied chums.
3, I would hate to pay for healthcare of people who have abused thier bodies with smoking or alcohol of drugs.

If it was, would it really bother you? Equal state support for every member of the population.. is it so bad?

I guess "socialism" or "communism" are synonims of "antichrist" in the USA.
