When did yahoo ask/answer start?

Because I read about the leader on the leaderboard and he says he's been doing it for half a year. well that just doesn't seem like very much to me to have that many points... who knows. but when did this start, and who thought it up? damn them, I'm addicted!!!! and where am i supposed to put this for its category??
