best advice - work on homework - school should be his job

Getting a great education is the best way to make good money.

If he's doing really well in school and he's involved in clubs or sports, that would be the best for him until he's at least a Junior or Senior. He should consider volunteering for community service.

If it's just for the summer and he has good grades, then he should consider part time retail when he's 16 or older. It's a great experience dealing with customers, handling money, schedules, managers etc.

At 15 there aren't many jobs he can legally have. Mowing lawns, washing cars, walking dogs, delivering newspapers, house sitting.

Come up Escondido way there are help wanted signs at almost every store and restaurant. Romano's is looking for bus boys, Big Lots is looking for stock people and the AmVets was looking for someone to man the donation drop off area. I even think my neighbor girl who works at Wild Animal Park said they were looking for stall cleaners.
