Unfortunately they are all grouped together. Transgenders are people who want to change or act like the sex they are not. Gays and Lesbians are people who have relationships with people of the same sexual orientation.

Transgendered and transsexual men and women have as wide a range of sexuality as non-transgendered/transsexual men and women. They tend to be more accepted in the gay, lesbian and bisexual community because we're a group of people who are constantly put down for our sexuality. We tend to shelter people who are victimized by people with "normal" sexualities and sexual identities.

No. Gay or Lesbian is simply same sex love. Transgenerism has more to do with actually wanting to be a different sex. i.e. a man who goes through a sex change to become a woman.
