if you still have your OS cd stick it in and reboot
when prompted to boot from cd hit any key
then let it do its thing
then it will ask if you want to install repair upgrade stuff like that i cant remember exactly but you want to choose repair
now it will ask if you want to repair with recovery console or if you want windows to repair it
let windows repair it
the comupter will do somethings then reboot
when it reboots it will do one of two things it will either already be working or will do the same procedure as if you were installing the OS for the 1st time but dont worry its not
its just going through everything fixing what is not right
it will reboot when its done and that should do it
good luck

You did not make it clear whether you can get by those errors and into Windows or not.
If not...
Sounds like it is not seeing the hard drive, so it is looking to boot off the floppy, Cd, etc. With the laptop off, trying taking out and putting back in the hard drive (On most laptop they are designed to come out easily). If that does not work, you will probably need to get a professional to look at it. It is a hardware problem.

To fix the problem would not be worth your time. It is in the autoexec.bat file. Mess that up and your computer won't start. I would live with it, is my advice.
