Is there anybody who does not care about the rest of the country or world?

Question

I see and hear about all the killing and earthquakes and bad storms and things that just kill people, why don't I care , and even in the town where I live, I don't care what happens to these people. Why? People talk about kids being killed and what a tragic thing it is. I don't seem to care one way or the other. I'm serious and don't need any smartass answers.

It isn't a question of caring. More of an information glut. Desensitization. I claim to be a believer. Shouldn't I care? We're told ': not to be troubled " because these are signs.

I know. It's different from outright uncaring.

Personally, I think you care. You wouldn't ask such a question if you weren't monitoring yourself. I know first hand what a cold hearted animal really looks like.

Polite hellos, smiles; all the while calculating. Two faced. With about a much depth as road kill.

( No I don't recommend California. )

Read the book. It helps get things into proper perspective. Hope this helps.

It's hard for some people to directly connect with things that don't concern them or their loved ones.

It sounds like you have a very hard heart... that's sad!

I hope you don't intend on having a relationship or raising children with that attitude.... you won't get too far.

I'm kind of the same way, why should I care?
Yes, it's bad, but it's not to my relatives or friends.

I'm the same way. If it doesn't directly affect me or my loved ones, I really don't care.
