my best friend fell in love with me and now things are so awkward why does this always happen to me how can i tell him i just want things to be the way they used to without hurting him?

My bestfriend and I fell in Love. Well, first he did and he bugged me, but then I realized he was every thing I wanted in a husband. We've been together for 10 years now and we still treat eachother like bestfriends but with lots of romance mixed in. NOPE! Our relationship hasn't gotten old, even if we weren't together, we'd probably still be friends anyway.

The best, and only thing, you can really do is to be completely open and honest with him. This has happened to me before and it just gets far too confusing if you are not honest from the very beginning. Of course you still have to be understanding of his feelings but just let him know that although u care about him as a friend, that's all you see him as. Make sure to let him know that you value his friendship and you would never want to loose him. And that you understand that he has feelings for you but you would just be lying if you told him you felt the same way.

I have had this happen before and the best thing is to be up front and honest. Just tell him you don't feel that way about him. You love having him as a friend and would feel awful if you lost that. If he is a true friend he will understand, if not then he wasn't. He probably on became your friend to just get close to you.

Just tell him carefully. If he ends up doing something dramatic like running to your house in the extreme heat, well, tell him it was sweet, and that he's a good guy, but you don't love him. Best luck.

I know what you mean that always happens to me to that's how i lost a lot of guy friends it gets wierd huh. what i do is i say let's just be friends or i don't like you like that

first bring up something way funny then while hes laughing tell him i know you like me but i just wanna be friends is that ok

I'd be truthful and honest with him. If you lie, then it will ruin your friendship. Nobody likes being lied to.. especially about something like this..

Just tell him the thruth because if u lie n don't tell him anything, he'll think u r leading him on.
