yes!

if you're a rocker i have good news. this comes from a close study of trends in popular culture and music.
i'm not sure how old you are, but you may be aware that in every decade, no matter what the cause, something held it down and off the charts. but it always emerged greater that the ten years previous and evolved into new, exotic forms.
for example, after the 70s and the disco tsunami, rock came back from the dead in the form of 80s hair metal. this transformation continued towards the end of the decade with the appearance of thrash metal and seattle's grunge scene, eventually leading up to the alternative/progressive movement of the 90s.
keeping this in mind, it's only a matter of time when there's a hip-hop backlash and rock will return to it's former prowess.

On on eend of the spectrum, yes I do. I also hate the other end which is country and western. I just cut off those two sides and enjoy the stuff in the middle.
