A blog is basically a journal that is available on the web. The activity of updating a blog is "blogging" and someone who keeps a blog is a "blogger." Blogs are typically updated daily using software that allows people with little or no technical background to update and maintain the blog.

Basically it is a journal that others view. So, if you are feeling the need to talk about something, you can type it up on your "blog" for all to see. For examples of how they are used, just look at your friend's pages or the pages of others.

it is an online journal where you can express what you feel, or basically publish whatever you want. www.xanga.com is a popular "blog" (its free!) you can set most blogs to private or public depending on if you want people to read them. hope it helps!

a blog is like a diary and you can post it on the Internet. but you choose who reads it or if anyone can read it. on most bloging websites you can set it up where only you can read your blog.
