Also, i really want to study abroad during my first semester senior year, is that a good idea? Would it work out alright?

I spent a term in Sydney, Australia and it was wonderful. The timing depends on your school and course of study. Senior year would have been AWFUL in my case, but it really depends on how you plan it. I had to spend my senior year researching and writing my honors thesis. Make sure you check with the study abroad department or your registrar to make sure the courses you plan to take abroad will transfer back to your school and cover the requirements you need them to.

Yeah, it was the best time of my life! I went to San Sebastian, Spain and had a great time there. I am from Sweden and was 20 when I went. I lived with a guy (from the US) and a swedish girl. My male roomie ended up marrying me, and we have been married for nine years now. I live in the US now. I so recommend doing it. You will learn so much more, and you'll have a good time at the same time. You never know what is going to happen with your life. You will also grow as a person being on your own in another country. I say go for it. I would recommend being at least 18 though. Have fun and good luck! Lots of love E-mail me if you have any questions.
