They have to do that to keep up appearances with the boys.
No man wants to look like he really cared about someone, that's a knock to the male pride.

Because he thinks it makes him the better person because hes got crap to talk about you and so that he knows that all the other guys wont mess with you cause secretly he still has feelings for you and by telling all the other guys that your nasty and a slut and you are a bit** makes the other guys not wanna mess with you make the ex more comfortable knowing that their not going to mess with you

He has low self esteem because he couldn't make the relationship work, or he feels badly that you broke up so he talks smack to make himself feel better. Or possibly to make himself look better to those around him. Either way, when people do this it is pretty obvious so don't sweat. Anybody who hears him will know he's speaking out of anger or sadness and won't believe what he says. Keep on steppin' girl!

Because he's a buster. Forget him and move on. He's a loser. He's insecure and childish. He probably regrets losing you or wants to get your attention by any means necessary. Keep in mind, if you're talked about, you're thought about, so you must have left a lasting impression. Too bad for him.

Either you are really as evil as they say or they want to look good to their friends..
Either way, you shouldn't be talking to anyone until you learn how to speak English correctly.
Why does AN ex...the rest is screwed up too, but I dont have time for an English lesson.

exes "talk mess about you" when you break up to make you seem more like the guilty party, and he didnt do anything wrong, and then he doesn't feel like the bad guy, and plus girls will think he needs some comforting....get what im sayin?....hehe

To make the break up seem like something is wrong with you and he's all that.Also it's a ego thing if their friends think your not worth going out with they wont ask you out.

he's hurt and insecure so he must make you look bad and try to make himself look good. But, by talking bad about you, he is the one that looks bad. Just feel sorry for him and be glad you got rid of him.
