The handle has come off of the zipper on my son's toddler couch, and now I can't get the cover off. I tried pulling on it with pliers, but they slip off before the zipper even moves. Any other suggestions?

Hook a very large paperclip on the slide.

It sounds like the end of the "handle" may have broken, where the open ends form a U shape. If one of these tabs broke, it can't be put back. You might find someone who can replace it with a new "handle".

I doubt that the holes on the zipper are cut through. If they are, then a piece of wire or a paper clip may slip through it.

All I can come up with.

I think you are out of luck, just take this couch to a seamstress to have it fixed
