I'm sorry to say the Braves will be at home when the playoffs start. I do agree that Chipper and Andrew Jones are great players, but the pitching for the Braves has been awful to say the least. As of late they are playing better baseball, but unless they get it together real fast they are going to be home watching the playoffs. The Braves have had a good run, something like 13 division championship in a row, not many teams can say that, but they also should have won more than 1 world series with the talent they have had over the years. Pitching has always been there strong point with Maddox, Glavine, and smoltz. But this year they are the worst pitching team in the league. They have to re-tool next year.

Best ever? As far as *current* players go, I have two words for you:

Albert.

Pujols.

The Joneses are the "best ever"? Not even close, though they are pretty good.

The Braves' amazing run of division championships (not counting the strike year of 1994) will end this season, but not because the Mets are particularly "amazin'" - the Braves just don't have the pitching they've had since the early 1990s. I'd like to see them go down swinging, though, and at least make a playoff run.

The Braves are hot and not only the Jones boys either. What about Brian McCann, Renteria, Francouer, LaRoche, Benemit and the rest? And now they have picked up a true closer in Bob Wickman. They are on a roll and the hottest team in baseball. I look for them to continue playing good baseball and do what they say they can't do and catch the Mets! Go Braves!

That isn't a question. Andrew is spelled Andruw. Opinions of teams with no supporting evidence that they are in fact better makes the opinion completely useless. And the Braves are so far out of first place it isn't even feasible a comeback is in sight.

Braves are on fire and rock, Andruw, Chipper, Renteria, and Betiment are going to take us to the playoffs

I'm pretty sure they couldn't get a win over the Diamondbacks not too long ago, yeah - swept they were...
Chipper - is this really the name of a grown man?
