When you first get your acrylics (and by the way, crystal nails are better), get them short. I always start with them just barely above my finger tips. this way you can get used to having them. If you just go from long to short you will poke or pinch your eye.

It really isn't hard at all. I just use the end of my finger and don't even let the nail get near the eye. But don't touch the contacts with the nails because it is easier to tear them this way.

its not that much harder, just make sure not to catch your contacts with you nails because if they are disposable then you will probably rip them and if they are long term gas permeable ones then you are likely to scratch them.

what is solar? its easier to tear contacts if you have fake nails, but if you are careful it shouldn't make a big difference

you want to have very dry fingers (and likewise sparkling!!) to verify the contant lense will persist jointly with your fingers more effective actual. moist or damp fingers will slip on the lenses. With lengthy nails, i'd recommend only utilising the perimeters of your fingers.
