At wat age does baby sleep in the cot?

This is all down to preference. A lot of babies begin sleeping in a tiny moses basket as they seem lost in a big cot. This is probably good till they out grow it at about 4 months. Some do however start off sleeping in a cot, if you don't want to spend out on a short life moses basket. Foot to cot end is recommended so baby doesn't slip down under the covers and risk overheating.

Some parents never put their child in a "cot" (which means CRIB in some parts of the world people....not a cot like a collapsible bed!).

My 2 oldest kids slept in a crib sometimes and other times they slept in a bassinet or in bed with me. It just depended on what they seemed to need at the time. They slept in the bassinet beside my bed or in bed with me until they began to roll over. Then they slept in the crib or in bed with me.

My youngest always co-slept with me in my bed until I moved her into a bed with her big sister when she was older.

u dont never ever out a baby in a cot.. that can kill a baby. u either but the baby in a basinett or in a crib. DO NOT ever put ur baby in a cot thay are not sturdy and can flip over very easy

I don't know what a cot is. I assume another word for crib? Both of my sons slept in a bassinet (in my room) until they were six weeks old. After that, I moved them to their crib in their own room.

mine one slept in a cot two weeks after she was born and the other 6 weeks after as he was a premature baby and was in hospital for one month.

i moved my daughter to her toddler bed at 13 months. they use cots at the daycare. the one i worked at started them on it at 12mos but at my daughters daycare they are on a mat from 12mos to age 3 and at age 3 move to the cot.
