More women everyday are taking over the jobs and professions that used to be for men only and are being very successful at them. Now men prefer manual jobs that don't require big degrees. (I am not saying all men, this has been proved by statistics saying that more women attend colleges and Universities than men.)

What men think about that? Are they happy and supporting women for it, or is their ego getting hurt?

I say more power to you. The more self-sufficient and confident a woman is, the more beautiful she is and the easier it is to be in a relationship with her.

One of the most common things that ends a relationship is when the woman is so needy and has no self-esteem whatsoever.

Candykills,
I personally believe that everyone should be judged on their merits, and not on gender, or race. Please remember that many of the women who are moving on up, and taking management positions, are doing so because of Affirmative Action programs. When a person is promoted because they are the best person for the job, I couldn't care less about their gender or race.. In fact, I'm happy for them. When a person gets promoted because they are the gender, and or race, that the quota demands, I have a problem, and so do a lot of other people, both male and female. I have personally seen very qualified people with college degrees get passed over, to promote someone of the right race and gender, who had third grade reading and writing skills. I want to see everybody have a chance, but the organization, and all those in it, suffer when we make leaders out of unqualified individuals to make everyone feel good.

Not sure if all men think the same as me?....I feel if a woman is qualified....go for it. Gender has nothing to do with it in my eyes...it comes down to qualifications. If a man wants the job and a woman is applying for it as well....step up to the bar and make sure his qualifications are superior. If I was running a business or the manager of business / dept. etc.....bottom line would come to qualifications and who would serve my needs better due to those superior qualifications.

Relatively, it is good to see that ladies are going out there to make it for themselves. The only problem is that we make it into a "battle of the sexes"! This should not be the case. Women are just as qualified as men!!!

> What. is it so. really//

> Men are delegating tasks to women so they can be free to concentrate on important things like measuring womens breasts with tape then recording all the sizes.. seeing how many beer cans can be put one on top of other... how high can a cards tower can be built.. If women think they are being more successful than men then they are just inside illusion

of course its getting hurt, what do you expect. its always a battle, isn't it. but on the other hand, when u have accepted it, its kinda very nice to see other having the responsibility of life etc. u kinda get more relaxed, and u say let them do whatever is in their mind. if they are better than we are, why not. its up to the question: if u see a man or a woman carrying a dog in her arms, who is the smarter one, the dog or the man/woman? id say the dog, he doesn't have to walk anymore, and id say the same thing regarding your question.

I believe that guys that are offended are only so because they see someone that they believe to be inferior to themselves doing better than them, and it takes a truely mature man to say that women have every right to be successful. Personally, I say, more power to those women who are succeeding.

I wanna girl with a short skirt and a looong jacket.

I love it and think it's great. We have greatly hindered ourselves as a race by supressing half the population. Who knows what brilliant minds have passed by unnoticed just because they were female.

My ego is being comforted by our ability to still bring in a higher salary despite our performance in the workplace.
