Well after the late jerk died, I ended up moving back to my home town. I eventually found a job (about a year later) by accident at a little dollar store. The owner was starved and wanted lunch, but couldn't leave to go eat. I offered to go get her food, but she said no, so I told her that I had been a cashier in the past, and I could run the store. So she turned the register over to me and spent an hour enjoying herself. She gave me a 20 dollar bill, and took my phone number. 3 days later I was a full time employee. Just look where it's least expected.
