Does anyone know where I can get the original graphic novel? I checked out a few book stores, and they only have the graphic novel that is based off of the movie.

"A Scanner Darkly" was not originally a graphic novel. The film is based on a novel (the textual kind, not the graphic kind) written by Philip K. Dick. in 1977.

You can typically find it in the science fiction section of any large bookstore (Barnes & Noble or Borders, for example). Because of the recently released movie, you might find the movie tie-in edition in another location.

Philip K. Dick novels or short stories have also been the basis for several other popular science fiction movies including "Blade Runner," "Total Recall," "Screamers," "Imposter," "Minority Report," and "Paycheck."
