They do have the right to defend themselves but have probably crossed the line.

Israel has every right to attack anyone who attacks them first (as does the US and any other country).

Israel pulled out of Gaza and they got a shower of bombs for a thank you! Worst part? Not one other muslim country helped them. They owe no one anything less than what they are giving.

They don't have 'you' and those others that tink like 'you' THERE to PROTECT them....but 'i' would be willing to bet that should someone try and hurt 'you' 'you' will be happy if the police show up in the nick of time right..??...well Isreal is protecting 'him-self' from insurgents that seek to do the above and more ....and by a group of THUGS...which covers every type of crime....

If somebody were lobbing missles at the US and kidnapping our citizens and we knew where they were we'd be all over them. Israel WAS trying to disengage from gaza.
