when i come to a complet stop my car jumps when i take off....what could be the problem

like your hood jumps?! bc if it does that, you need to fix you motor mounts. which can be a hassle bc you have to totally hoist up your engine....let a mechanic take care of it. good luck! <3

Without more information regarding the make and model of the vehicle and a definition of 'jumps' you will not get any answers that will be helpful.

Jumps. All 4 tires are off the ground?
Jumps. Seems to be in neutral for a few seconds, and then lurches forward?

Depending on your definition of "jump", either your brakes are sticking or you are hitting the gas too hard

i could say that if it makes a noise but delays when it pulls off its the transmission fluid but also it could be a problem with the gears

with out noing what kind of car, it might be idle is to low, or you are due for a tune up

Idle is set too high.
