I'm sure the law probably differs in each state, so your best bet is to contact your lawyer. In Maine, for a vehicle to qualify for "Lemon-law" status. The vehicle must have a particular problem- for instance, the wipers stop working after 10 minutes. The dealer has 3 opportunities to repair the problem. If they fail to repair the problem, you have your lawyer contact the manufacturers' nearest zone office and tell the manufacturer you want to return the car. The manufacturer will then buy back the vehicle (they rarely go to court over it), BUT, they they only pay the vehicles' current value, ie, they deduct for mileage, depreciation, damage, etc.. In your case, it appears you've had several problems, but each one is of a different nature. Therefore, in Maine, it would not qualify as a Lemon-law vehicle. Soryy for all the problems you've had, I'm sure you're very frustrated. Good Luck!

The first thing you need to do is determine the law for the state that you live in...because certain states have different characteristics on what substantiates a so-called lemon....for example if lived in ky and you returned your car for up to four times for the same defect or problem/or if your car was out of commission for 30 days....you could possilbly get a refund....Main thing is to know your rights first of all then consult a lawyer.....to make sure your rights are protected when it comes to this sort of thing..

Visit http://www.lemonlaw.bbb.org/ to check your state's lemon law standards. From what you've said if none of those things are your fault then I think you may qualify. The Massachusetts standard covers "...vehicle nonconformities. A nonconformity is defined as any specific or generic defect or malfunction, or any concurrent combination of defects or malfunctions, that substantially impairs the use, market value or safety of the motor vehicle" I think you fall under the "concurrent combination" part.

Depends on the state you are in as to the teeth in the lemon law. Did they fix it each time, at no cost to you? Was it something different each time? Is it okay now? You have to give them a chance to fix it.

Contact your local DMV (Department of Motor Vehicle) for clarification. They should be in the phone book.
