I have walked through a thunder storm in a string vest. Jogged home from the hospital after the vasectomy. Do not change light bulbs as real men are not afraid of the dark. So what have I missed? Help me!

Basically, if you've got a penis, you're a real man. Really.
This whole idea of having to live up to some impossible ideal of beauty or strength or masculinity - it's totally bogus. Have as little to do with it as possible - I guarantee you'll be happier for it.

You're confusing inner strength & compassion with physical feats. That must be the source of the problem. A real man is not afraid of his emotions.

Being a "real man" is different for everybody. Be who you want to be, and live in whatever way that makes you happy (as long as you're obeying the law at the same time).
If your friends tell you that you're not a real man, they're not your friends.

A real man, in my opinion, is one who will look after you when you need it. He'll protect you from the world and relish in it. He want need to tell everyone what a man he is because everyone will just know.
