Why is Chikka so popular in the Phillipines? It seems to be nothing different than Y! messenger?

I see that many users are recommending Chikka as the number one application for sending text messages from a PC to a mobile phone. It does not seem to have any better feauture than Yahoo Messenger. What is it that makes Chikka so popular?

Because of instantaneous send of messages from PC to mobile. You can check for yourself if you have mobile number. I already done this many times and it takes only about three seconds (the fastest) to reach to my mobile. The worst (maybe bug in the program) is about hours or even days.
