when i first started having my period i didn't like to have all that nasty down there so i used tampons you can get the regular size ones not the super it might bother you ..you can shave around and just leave it cute and trimmed not all bushy lookin like a animal keep it clean and cut i don't like pads because it feels nasty so tampon do the job if you have the tampon in you right it wont hurt everything should be fine,

Take a few more showers than usually during this time. Change the pads frequently. I couldn't use tampons, so I have little knowledge about them, sorry. I've trimmed and shaved, and for me, there was more of a mess..
There are also different sizes to the pads, maybe try a few out, see if anyone works better.. also, check out which ones absorb better for you.

Definetly, shave or trim at least. I have a trimmer thats special for down there, so I trim first, then I shave, so when it's that time of the month it's much less messy. I forgot the name of the trimmer but you can find it at any drugstore.

I find trimming my hair to be a lot better during my period. Less mess, and less odor too. But don't shave, just trim it down with an electric razor.

I would shave for sure. I do anyway every 3 days or so. It's just neater and cleaner.
