RFK, Shea, Yankee Stadium, Kauffman, and the Metrodome all need updating but since they are all scheduled to be renovated or replaced, they don't count. (in response to another post... RFK was actually built for baseball originally, unlike many other stadiums of that era - nonetheless it desperately needs to be replaced)
There are three other ballparks that are in need of updating/replacement:
1. Marlins (Dolphin Stadium) - horrible place to watch a game. Seats are configured for football. Very muggy with the constant threat of rain delays. Not enough baseball-centric suites. They are trying to get a new stadium built in Hialeah (with retractable roof) but negotiations are taking a long time and the threat of relocation is possible (but not likely).
2. Athletics (Raiders/Network Associates/soon to be bankrupt ecommerce company stadium) - same problems as Marlins stadium except for the weather-related issues. A few minor improvements were made (primarily closing the upper bowl to create seat demand and ensure adequate staffing for concessions/ushers), but the facility is woefully inadequate. They are currently focused on building a stadium in Fremont. Again, negotiations are protracted but more hopeful than Hialeah since the owner is savvy and experienced at brokering deals of this magnitude. Plus Fremont is near the pot of gold in San Jose.
3. Tampa Bay (Tropicana Field) - cavernous, bad turf, dark and enclosed which is no fun on a sunny summer day. The stadium was built in late 80's right as the trend of building concrete, enclosed, multipurpose stadiums was coming to an end. The new owner made a lot of improvements over the winter to make the stadium more fan friendly, but the team is locked into a long term lease (approximately 10-15 more years) at "The Trop" so it is unlikely that any major renovations or talk of a new stadium for the D-Rays will occur for the next decade or so.
Pretty much every other stadium has either been recently built, renovated, or is a classic favorite for fans (Wrigley/Fenway) that is highly unlikely to be demolished anytime soon.
Honestly, I hate to say this, but out of all of the newer stadiums, the one that most needs "updating", as in sprucing up, is ... Camden Yards. The stadium and the area are absolutely beautiful, but you can tell it's getting a little dingy, and the scoreboard is pretty lame compared to most other newer stadiums. Still a great place to watch a game though.

The oakland A's stadium.... Because they cant sell out the stadium that they are in as it is. They need to bring the seating numbers down to probably 75 since thats how many fans attend every game. Also.... they need to get some better seats in there instead of the concret seats and the old chairs.

RFK, hands down. You can't see the outfield in half the seats in the stadium. The stadium was made for football and that is painfully obvious.
