He could be. People forget that Jordan was in the same position that Kobe is in now. If he doesn't pass him he'll be close. Kobe captured his first title at 22, MJ at 28. Kobe is only 27 right now so it is very possible. He is the Jordan-like player in the NBA right now averageing about 6 rebs. and 6 asst. along with 35.4 pts.(The leading scorer and NBA 1st team all-defense). LeBron plays more like Magic Johnson with the way he controls the game and Wade plays alot different from the way Jordan played and had a better supporting cast in the Finals than Jordan or Kobe ever had, but it didn't show. Kobe is a better perimeter shooter than MJ was and how much titles did MJ win without his other star?0. Kobe has the potential to be the best. People just don't like him so they hate. I think that's what he feeds off though.

No and the biggest stat to prove that is field goal percentage. Kobe had a great year in terms of field goal percentage shooting at around 45% from the field and though he's shot a career 45% from the field, much of that has come when he's had Shaq to get him wide open looks. Michael Jordan on the other was a 50% plus shooter from the field. To do what he did and shoot that kind of percentage is nothing short of amazing.

No. Jordan was like Babe Ruth and Kobe is some guy who came right after and has been forgotten since.
Thats how it will be. Jordan will be remembered Kobe not so much.
