You learned how to rhyme in 2nd grade? I learned in kindergarden. Anyways, you probably don't know how to ryhme like some of them. Also, a lot of artists (not just rappers) make their words rhyme. And you don't have to like it, nobody asked you to.

Rap originated in Jamaica through a technique called dubbing. Essentially the few DJ's on the island dominated all music that came through the island and to create some diversity began to talk over the records they were playing. The ability to improvise words over a background song is no small feat, try it some day. As the skills progressed a new art form was created. There is much more to the story obviously... but if you follow the progression it gives a better understanding of the skills needed to "rap"
