Why does the world think that Israel is killing innocent people??
After all...hezbollah is hiding within the civilian population and then they say that Israel killed many civilians. Well, if they werent hiding were thousands of people live...then maybe innocent people wouldnt get killed.
At least Israel has targets and doesnt shoot at any building like Hezbollah.
For all of those people who say that Israel had no right to go into Lebanon after only 2 people were captured..your right.

The fact is that Israel is trying to destroy a known terrorist group that truely kill civilians on purpose.

I mean Israel isnt the one who blow themselves up in busy street corners or on buses.

They even offered peace many times but of course it eas rejected.

And now Lebanon is bi.tching to the U.N that they should call for a cease-fire. Well..if Lebanon would have killed Hezbollah when they had a chance then none of this would have happened.
I know im missing something...but o well

Anyway, I am from India and I feel India in the same position where Israel must have been before all this crap.

You know India and Pakistan got freed from British colonial rule on 15'th august, 1947, with a voilent division. All was to crush secularism and riots occured between Hindus and Muslims. Pakistan chose to be a pure Islamic State, and India became a secular democratic state.

Pakistan always tried to attack India for Kashmir( northern part of India), but lost everytime it tried. After all God is with truth and Humanity.

The urge of Pakistan disd not stop there like a unshameed, disrespectful state, it started sending terrorists to India to kill peace, about 20 years ago. The terrorist groups attack temples, historical monuments and common people and called themselves Zihadis. They are mainly from Lashkar groups. Recent bomb blasts in Mumbai is the cruel example to promote community riots in India. But people of India has learned to live in unity.

After all, INDIA should make ISRAEL its role model, and start attacking terrorist groups, who has got there shelter under the arms of Pervez Musharraf, President of Pakistan.

And it would make India free of terrorism, but terror-free India is a dream untill a permanent solution is not found out, bcoz war is never a good option.


After all, I support Israel for its act against its enemy terrorists.
Untill unless common people dont get hurt.

Is interesting to see the point of view of many individuals, however I believe the best way to really know what is like to be in a volitaile place as it is over seas is to go there. Sure people in general dont seem to rationalize why for 1 individual that was captured. Obviously they have never been near war. Sure people talk about vietnam, korean war, and etc.. however is all talk. War is not pretty and neither is been attacked by another country. Regardless of what people who dont know the history behind the conflicts say, is important to hear out those who do know the history behind the conflict. The united nations know war and is why they are united, if they dont intervene is because one country (even though Hezbollah might be a terrorist oraganization they are part of Lebanon live in Lebanon) attacked another, and have to do as much as possible diplomaticaly, but cannot really get involved. Good points you made but also important to understand that we are talking about many innocent people on both sides as well. I added many thoughts here to dicipate all those who will come and post ignorant comments.

Are you serious??? Israel is terrorist, not Hezbollah! Israel has been slaughtering the Palestinians because they think that Gaza is the "promised" land! Along with Americans, they believe that they are superior to everyone else and mostly to the Muslim people...And that's a pity because the Jews had suffered a lot. They have been ousted during all historic periods; they have been terminated by Hitler, but now they seem to neglect their previous sufferings. They are acting as Hitler did by slaughtering their neighbouring countries. They desperately want to extend their boundaries. And everyone supports them no matter what because they are afraid that they would be called anti-semitists.... Israel is using weapons of the latest technology, with the blessings of the USA, to kill the Palestinians. But the latter can only defend themselves by turning their bodies into bombs...They don't have a powerful "friend" to support them, like Israel has the USA, the UN and the EU...And they don't have an even more powerful lobby in the USA like Israel...So, this war is not on equal terms....

I can agree with you. I don't think Israel is wrong for fighting back. We have done the same when we have been attacked in the past. One problem with what you asked here: "Why does the world think that Israel is killing innocent people??" That's because they are. It's not deliberately, granted, but they in fact are killing innocent people by firing missiles at Hezbollah. Don't get me wrong, I support the Israeli fight. But technically, they are killing innocent civilians, although they are not intentionally doing so. That is the difference as you have pointed out. Hezbollah is killing civilians purposely. The only reason the Israelis are killing innocent people is because Hezbollah hides their weapons and soldiers in schools, hospitals, and other public places.

I'm with you Julean33! You said it perfectly clear and it's all completely the truth. Most intelligent people or at least those with any common sense at all would agree with you. Hezbollah are terroists and like the rabid dogs they are, must be hunted down and killed for the sake of not only Israel who is merely defending themselves but for Lebanon as well! You hit the bulls eye. THE ONLY REASON WHY THEY WANT A CEASE FIRE IS TO REGROUP. We need to fight the enemy on their turf before they come here. There are already small cell groups of these terrorists. People wake up and support Isreal!!!!

learn the history of the region, many people lost their homes and lands due to Israeli settlers, if a family from another country came to your house and forced you into the street and took your land and home would you call them innocent, would you be a terrorist to try to get them out of there so you could have your home back
