Pregnancy is different for every woman. If you were already overweight when you got pregnant losing a few pounds won't hurt you. If you were underweight then you might be more concerned.
Is your doctor worried? If he is not worried, you shouldn't be either. Do everything you can to have a healthy baby. Don't smoke, drink or use drugs. Don't expose yourself to second hand smoke. Eat healthy and get regular exercise. Nature will take it's course.
Morning sickness passes after the first few months for most woman. For a few others it hangs on all nine months. Do the best you can to get through each day. Eat small meals, drink lots of water and take your prenatal vitamins.
Good luck to you.

i said the same exact thing...i am 4 and a half months pregnant and at my first appt. i weighed 119 at 8 weeks, at my 3 month appt i weighed 114 and over the 3-4 month period i went down to 110...at my 4 month appt. i weighed 113 so i am guessing i am on my way back up but for some reason my weight just keeps fluctuating and i am not showing at all....strange for me cause when i had my son 4 years ago by 4 months i had already gained a little over 20 pounds i went from 110 to 182 before i had him....you will gain it back then you will be asking how to take the weight off in about 5 more months i would say count your blessings i know i am.....good luck and congrats

I also lost weight when I first got pregnant (both times) because I had some pretty bad morning sickness. My doctor told me not to worry about it because the baby would take what it needs from me. As long as your baby is growing fine you should be OK, but talk to your doctor about it. Sure enough, by about 6 months in both my pregnancies, I started gaining weight. Only gained about 10 pounds, but it was that much less to lose after the babies were born! They were both healthy, normal-weight, normal length.

No worries at all, that is completely normal. During one of my pregnancies I lost 40 lbs during the first 4 months, but it all came back by the end.

I lost weight in my second pregnancy. As long as you are eating good healthy meals several times a day, don't worry about it.

I lost weight when I was pregnant too, you don't need to worry about trying to put the weight back on. If you are worried talk to your Dr. about it,. Try not to worry!
