Learn all you can about it and just kick it!
Start with something small like books or something and then once you have gotten the experience, move on to something that you are passionate about!
Sure...if you don't work eBay to the fullest, it won't do you justice, but if you seriously tackle it, it will pan out amazingly.
Read books, talk to people, try and sell as much stuff as possible, get your feedback up to the hundreds and things will just fall in place for you! But more importantly, give it time! You can get rich quick, but most likely then not, you won't. Just work it and nourish it like your own personal business! --Seriously!

If you have a website, you can make money using Google Adsense. http://www.google.com/adsense .
Yahoo has a similar program but it is still in beta stage. And I think they accept people form US only. http://publisher.yahoo.com . All other methods of earning money are useless. You will never earn a cent using those programs. Example, clicking on ads, signing up on websites, reading emails, etc.
However you can trust Google Adsense. They always send your payments in time.

use www.greenhorse.com. i dont know if it does work out or no. you have to find at least 10 people then you'll be payed. i just found 7 people so i dunno....
